For memory care communities · Closing the Family Experience Gap

Memory care, seen from both sides of the table.

Your care team shows up with skill and heart. But families still feel uncertain, staff still burn out, and move-outs happen before they should. I bring dementia expertise, benchmark research, and 15 years of customer experience systems to solve the problems in front of you now, then build the habits that keep them solved.

Families as partners. When families trust the care, residents and staff stay.
The challenge

The gap isn't in care quality. It's in experience and connection.

When families can't see the care, they fill the silence with worry. Small communication misses add up to lost trust, hard move-out conversations, and reviews that don't reflect the care you actually give. Meanwhile, the staff caught in the middle carry it home.

What families feel

Uncertain about daily care · Grief no one acknowledges · Afraid to speak up · Outside the care team

What staff experience

Exhaustion with no outlet · Hard conversations without support · Little structured recognition · Caught in the middle

When the gap closes, everything shifts.

◆ Families become your most credible referral source

◆ Reviews reflect the care you actually deliver

◆ Staff stay longer and do their best work

◆ Move-out conversations happen less often

◆ Leadership sees risk early, not after a complaint

"Sensors and charting tell families what happened. The human layer, someone who explains what it means, is what builds trust."

What you can count on

Expertise aimed at the problem in front of you

Most communities call when something is already costing them: a family escalation, a wave of turnover, a stalled census. We start there, with fixes your team can use right away.

About Gina Harrison, CDP®

Built from the inside of both worlds

I spent 15+ years building the systems and cultures that retain customers at scale, including 110% net revenue retention across an $80M portfolio. I know what a broken communication system looks like before a family does, and what staff burnout costs a team.

Today I apply that operational lens to memory care as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and researcher, with one goal: fewer early move-outs, stronger referrals, and staff who stay.
